Super Smash Burgers
Ingredients
• 2 pounds ground beef
• Salt and pepper
• Garlic powder
• 6 hamburger buns
• 6 slices American cheese
Toppings
• Lettuce
• Tomato
• Pickles
• Onion
Burger sauce
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 2 Tbsp ketchup
• 1 Tbsp mustard
• Splash of pickle juice
Instructions
Divide the beef into 12 small balls. Mix burger sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over high heat. Place beef balls on the hot skillet and smash them thin with a spatula. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for 1-2 minutes until crispy, then flip. Add cheese and cook another minute until melted.
Toast buns if desired. Spread sauce on buns and top with burgers, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion.
