For members participating in the Off-Peak Program, beginning with October usage, reflected on your November statement, the off-peak energy rate will increase by approximately 14% or $0.008 cents/kWh. This change is equal to the increase passed along by our wholesale power supplier, Minnkota Power Cooperative.

It's important to note that the off-peak energy charge is only a portion of your total energy charge. No action is required on your part. We simply want you to be informed and assured that CCEC continues to work diligently to keep your rates stable while ensuring reliable service. Rest assured that this increase still makes CCEC's off-peak program competitive with both fuel oil and propane.
