Energy expert: Russell Schell

In 1983, Russel Schell started his HVAC/R (heating, ventallation, air conditioning, and refrigeration) career in the U.S. Air Force technical training. He worked on many different systems throughout those years, such as very high-level clean rooms at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, where the Hubble Telescope was built. He has spent more than 30 years as a field engineer working at many different universities, schools, and healthcare facilities systems to make them more energy efficient and improve indoor air quality. These systems range from large commercial systems to residential heat pumps. He’s completed various types of energy audits, from rating the quality of insulation to various electrical and mechanical systems.
