Recipe: Hamburger Soup
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 16 ounce can tomatoes (chopped)
3 medium carrots (sliced)
2 medium potatoes (cubed)
1 medium onion (chopped)
1/2 cup celery (chopped)
3 cups water
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves (crushed)
1 cup frozen green beans
Preparation:
Brown ground beef in a kettle, draining excess fat. Add the remaining ingredients except the green beans. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until the vegetables are tender. Add the green beans and continue to simmer for 15 minutes more.
