Purpose of position:

  • Manages the activities and administration in planning, development, and implementation of the Cooperative’s human resources, policies, procedures, and practices including:
    • employment administration and recordkeeping.
    • government legal compliance.
    • recruitment, retention, orientation, and onboarding
    • benefit administration
    • personnel management, including labor relations, employment/labor laws, training, federal/state reporting, and employee relations.
    • compensation, including performance evaluation program, job analysis, wage surveys, etc.
    • cooperative representative for union administration.

Education/experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business management or related major is required.
    • closely related and progressive job experience may substitute for a portion of the educational requirements.
  • 5 to 7 years of human resources work experience required.
  • 3 to 5 years of management/supervision experience required.
  • 2 to 3 years of previous experience working with labor unions preferred.
  • Preference is given for electric utility iVUE software knowledge.
