Ingredients: 
1 ½ cups sugar
1 teaspoon soda
¼ teaspoon baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cloves
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon nutmeg
1 ⅔ cups flour
½ cup salad oil
2 eggs
1 cup pumpkin
½ cup water


Preparation:
Sift dry ingredients. Make an indentation and add all the remaining ingredients. Mix. Stir in ½ cup nuts if desired. Bake 1 ½ hours at 325 °F.
