    Almost 50% of Cass County Electric's lines are buried underground. Digging into power lines can cause outages for the whole neighborhood; it also can be extremely dangerous and life-threatening. Luckily, there’s an easy process to keep you safe.

    Recent storms have scattered debris—including downed power poles and wires—across the region. Farmers, ranchers, and landowners: please keep an eye out for co-op equipment in ditches, fields, or windrows as you work this season.
